Hello, this is Ahmed Usama.
Science is the greatest tool humanity invented. But the greatness of such a tool is its impact on our daily life. Therefore, sustaining the scientific research with seasonal funds that are heavily impacted externally will not result in a sustainable research system. Therefore, Ahmed believes in the power of R&D.
The translation of research work into an economically impactful project is Ahmed's current focus.
Starting with an academic background in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Zewail City he has a comprehensive base needed to start a project in life sciences. Which ended up with a research project funded by the ASRT to genetically engineer a viral system promoters to enhances its specificity.
Furthermore, he used his strong bases of life science to be merged with market-responsive entrepreneurship and create a fully feasible and economically sustainable plans for solutions that fits the recent market challenges.
In addition, Ahmed has been a part of culturing multiple strains of microorganisms and creating multi-stage prototypes for their cultivation in order to be transformed into natural metabolites synthesis facilities for commercial production.
Currently, Ahmed is leading a team of R&D specialists to develop new solutions to our day-to-day challenges using science. The team has been working on +8 SKUs that boosts the agronomical productivity and currently applied over 2000 acres.
